Jeep Driving Parties

What happens at a Wacky Wheelers party?

A colourful track, a line-up of rugged Jeeps and the chance to get behind the wheel: there’s plenty to look forward to at a Wacky Wheelers party. The challenges build as the children gain confidence, with driving games, a test of their new skills and a birthday finale to remember.

We keep everything on track. From the first briefing to the birthday finale, we take charge of the driving entertainment: organising turns, guiding the children and keeping the party moving. You can relax and enjoy watching them have fun. Parents consistently tell us they hadn’t realised how easy it would be.

1: Arrive & get ready

The inflatable track and Jeeps are ready when your guests arrive, setting the scene for the driving ahead. For the children, the first glimpse of the cars is often enough to get the excitement started.

Once the guests have arrived, we take the lead: gathering the children, making introductions and giving a short safety briefing before the driving begins. There’s no need for you to organise driving turns or work out what happens next—we handle that. We normally wait until at least two-thirds of the guests have arrived, so please encourage everyone to be prompt.

2: First drives

The music starts and the first Jeeps set off around the track. For some children, it’s their first chance to steer a car themselves; others are soon enjoying every turn. Drivers and passengers swap roles, so there’s fun in both seats.

At the end of each turn, the music stops and everyone brings their Jeep to a halt. Drivers step out, passengers move across into the driving seat, and new passengers climb aboard.

Off the track, mini table football keeps children occupied between turns. There’s also plenty to watch as their friends tackle the course—and plenty of encouragement from the sidelines.

3: Games & challenges

Once the children have found their feet—or rather, their pedals—the course starts to change. Traffic cones appear, turns get tighter, and a straightforward lap becomes a test of steering, judgement and concentration. The better they drive, the trickier it gets.

Then come the driving games: perhaps Jeep Limbo, Cat and Mouse, or another Wacky Wheelers challenge. We adapt the games as the party progresses, keeping the children involved and giving them something new to master.

4: The driving test

By now, the children have had plenty of practice. The driving test gives them a chance to show how far they’ve come, putting their steering skills and concentration to work on the course.

If you’ve chosen personalised driving licences, there’s a keepsake to take home too: a laminated, credit-card-sized licence featuring their name and party details—a reminder of the day they took the wheel.

5: The VIP finale

With the driving test complete, we line up the Jeeps beneath the arch for a team photo: the drivers together with the cars they’ve spent the party mastering.

Now the birthday child takes centre stage. With the track cleared for their victory laps, friends gather around to cheer them on and sing Happy Birthday. The chequered flag brings their drive to a finish, with applause waiting as they step out of the Jeep.

At a joint party, the birthday children share the finale with a race together—one that, somehow, always ends in a draw.

6: Food & finish

Even packing away starts with something for the children to enjoy: helping with the track’s grand deflation. Then it’s time to head over for the birthday food you’ve arranged, with plenty of driving adventures to talk about.

While they eat, we pack away the equipment, leaving the music until last. If you’ve ordered driving licences, these are presented at the end of tea.
