Rocky scenery, little Jeeps and a room full of birthday excitement — Sunbury Leisure Centre makes a fabulous setting for a Wacky Wheelers driving party! The climbing wall gives our ride-on Jeeps a wonderfully adventurous backdrop, turning the setup into something that looks rather special before the first driver even climbs aboard.
We held our first Wacky Wheelers party here on Sunday 4 October 2026, and came away thoroughly impressed. The team could not have been more helpful: they helped prepare the birthday tea tables and even arranged an extra helper during our visit. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and it made a real difference to the day.
What are the facilities and space like at Sunbury Leisure Centre?
There is plenty of room to make a proper occasion of it. The hall can accommodate up to ten Jeeps using our Supersize track, with the birthday tea set out at the far end of the same room. That means the driving fun and the food can be kept together, while still giving each its own area.
There is also space for a separately arranged bouncy castle, subject to agreement with the centre and a suitable layout. Please discuss any additional entertainment when planning your party so everyone has the space they need.
The climbing wall is a backdrop to the Jeep party and is not available for use as part of our activity. Our Jeeps are the stars of the show!
The acoustics were excellent during our visit, and the hard-wearing floor worked well for the Jeeps. Toilets and changing facilities are available at the centre. We saw drinks and snack vending machines and a water supply; please check current refreshments arrangements with the centre and plan your birthday food in advance.
Arrival, access and setting up your party
Guests arrive through reception. The rear of the hall opens into a gated compound, giving the venue a reassuringly enclosed feel. As at every Wacky Wheelers party, parents and organisers remain responsible for supervising children, including around doors and entrances.
For our equipment, rear access allows us to unload right beside the climbing-wall end of the hall — wonderfully straightforward once the gates and doors are open. Please ask the centre to arrange a key holder for our agreed setup time. Not every member of staff can unlock the rear access, so this needs to be agreed in advance.
