Highdown School in Emmer Green / Caversham on the Northern outskirts of Reading can provide a great location to hold your child’s birthday party, particularly one of Wacky Wheelers’ amazing Kids Jeep Driving Parties, or go kart parties.
If you are local to Emmer Green (such as in Sonning Common or Caversham) we’re pretty sure that you’ll have been here before for one reason or another – gymnastics or indoor cricket practise for example.
A review of the facilities / space at Highdown School
The hall is a good size – plenty of space for a large 6 Jeep party, and if you don’t use the rest of the space for food, we could even fit an 8 Jeep Supersize party in here.
Parking – there’s lots of parking available so all your party guests can arrive and not have to worry about being late trying to find a space for their car.
Accessibility – not bad – a little tucked away in a residential area with poor signs so satnav directions are pretty essential.
Acoustics – horrid! On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being bad, we’d say 4.
Space – a little tatty, but does the job – really recommend the bunting option to lift it.
Electrics – no convenient sockets on outer wall that we could find, so have to trail a power lead
Loading – Excellent once you have the vehicle in place – but getting it into place is a bit of a pig – very narrow pathway.
No Kitchen facilities so you will have to make sure you have packed all you need.
