As a venue for a kids birthday party, the 2nd Amersham on the Hill 2nd Scout Group have a gem of a hall to offer!
It’s brand new and all shiny… with plenty of space for one of our amazing Kids Jeep Driving Parties. Really easy to get to, and well laid out, we love it! It has a climbing wall at one end, and plenty of secure fastening points for our decorative chequered bunting (an optional extra).
There’s a fully fitted kitchen with a hatch that opens out onto the main hall. The main hall is big enough to have a Large (6 Jeeps) party and still have room to lay a table out ready for the party food – so it’s an all in one venue.
Not so good bits:
Sadly the acoustics aren’t great – but they are by no means the worst of the venues we attend.
Whilst there is a great car park, access for us is poor. We can’t get close to the building due to a bollard, and we have to park in disabled bays. So the hall itself is probably 75m from where we can park – so this adds considerable time to the load/unload given the amount of equipment we carry. So we’d suggest either a 10am or a 3pm start time for this venue to allow us extra time to get in or out.
