St Mary’s Church Centre is the answer! it’s an amazing venue for one of our kids’ parties.
If Carlsberg ™ made church halls, they would have made this one! It’s incredibly modern and extremely well appointed. Oodles of space, separated by a glass partition, so that the adults can watch on and talk undisturbed while the little ones have the time of their lives!
Entertainment space and facilities at St Mary’s Reigate
We think St Mary’s Reigate is an exceptional venue for a kids party, with lots going for it. In fact – it’s one of our top rated party venues!
Being quite a new building, it is fully specced with everything you may need. Loos are good, the kitchen is exceptional (large with stainless steel units) – and all well situated. The kitchen also has a serving hatch which opens out not only onto the foyer, but also onto the main hall – making the task of keeping the guests fully fuelled a doddle.
There’s lots of parking available, and it’s relatively easy to find (some party venues we go to you need to be a professional explorer to reach!)
The main hall itself is vey bright and airy, and acoustics aren’t too bad – the management have installed acoustic panels to soak up some of the bouncing sound. We could easily fit up to a 7 car party in here.
What’s not so great is the loading. Because the building is built on a slope there is a huge drop between the back of the building and the driveway, so access is only via the front. The downside of this is that when we are packing up and bringing our kit back through to our vehicle, we have to go through the area where the party food is being devoured. Not a biggie, but something to note.

We do know of two other venues in Reigate itself, but at the time of writing have yet to use them ourselves, so can’t comment as to their suitability. They are Donyngs Leisure Centre and the Colman-Redland Centre. We have checked both these venues out online for space and they will both work.
But if you are looking a bit further away, there are some other great venues to look at. If you are coming from the Caterham direction, then we really rate Woldingham Village Hall. If you are coming from Banstead/Tadworth, then The Beacon School has facilities for holding kids parties.
