96 Shenley Road Community Hub makes a fabulous kids party venue and is located in the heart of Borehamwood, yet is still easily accessible from places like Potters Bar, Edgware or Bushey.
96 Shenley Road is a new, iconic, multi-purpose community centre, and not only does it have a brilliant room for parties, there’s also a theatre, Cinema, the Town Library, and Elstree and Borehamwood Museum. The hall has great lighting and is big enough for small, standard, and large parties. They also supply a PA system, but as we bring our own that’s not necessary during the driving part of the party, but you could make use of it when we’re packed up and the kids are having something to eat.
The hall is large enough to have an area at the end in which tables can be set up for the birthday party food to be served up, and there is also a kitchen area to allow food to be prepared which has things like a hot urn for tea and a microwave. Although this has a hatch which opens onto the hall, the track will be in the way so the back entrance is used instead.
When booking a Wacky Wheelers kids driving party in the Borehamwood venue, it’s important to let the venue staff know that we’ll be using the loading bay and parking area, which we would need clear for our vehicle.

“Chris at Wacky Wheelers was brilliant, fun and accommodating! We hired this as a mini monster truck themed party. The kids had so much fun racing around the inflatable track. Brilliant even for 5 year olds as Chris teaches the kids to drive via fun mini games. Everyone had a lot of fun and my son the birthday boy even got to whizz around at “super” speed as a birthday treat. Would definitely recommend to any one who’s child either loves racing or are into monster trucks.”
