Barkham Village Hall is a bit of a gem if you’re looking for an outdoor activity party near Wokingham or Reading. Why? Because it has a fabulous garden, and a hall that is just about big enough in instances where the weather just isn’t playing cricket and tries to stop play, so the party can continue indoors.
Facilities and Space at Barkham Village Hall
Cutting to the chase, Barkham Village Hall is mainly about outdoor parties. The garden is huge – and there’s plenty of space to do pretty much whatever you want! The slight caveat is that the ground does slope – which means that the Jeeps can struggle if there are a couple of larger kids on board, so we’d recommend keeping the parties to the younger kids at this venue.
There’s lorry loads of parking available, so that’s not an issue. There are also rooms to have party food in within the building. A decent kitchen, good loos, this place is well equipped. The hall is just under the size we’d recommend, but we cold still get a party to work here. Because the room at the end of the hall has double doors, the guests could wait in there, and come in to the main hall when it’s their turn to drive our fab Jeeps.

Options and ideas if Barkham Village Party Venue is unavailable
If this party venue isn’t up your alley, or isn’t available on the date you want to book one of our splendiferous parties, then we may be able to help with some other kids party venue ideas near you. We strongly recommend the FBC Centre in Finchampstead, but it’s only available on a Saturday during the weekend, so competition for slots is fierce. Just as close by is Winnersh Community Centre which is pretty good as a place for an indoor party (and perhaps even outdoor!).
